Camp Fire Orange Coucil values and supports children and youth on their journey to adulthood. Camp Fire is a contemporary, inclusive, youth development programs that develop personal life skills, social responsibility, healthy life styles and leadership.

 

Each experience a child has helps form the adult he or she becomes. Making that journey positice and meaningful is at the core of programs offered by Camp Fire in Orange, Texas.

 

Founded for girls in 1910, Camp Fire has a rich history that is strong on tradition, but continiously evolves to meet the changing needs of children and youth. Camp Fire Orange Council got there charter in 1921, and boys got to join in 1976. Camp Fire embraces diversity and inclusiveness and has been coeducational for more than 20 years. Through health and safety classes, volunteer service, hiking, swimming, and more, boys and girls learn to work and play together and to appreciate their similarities and differences.
